Coordination-, Network funds- and Workshop module for the priority programme Ecosystem Nutrition: Forest Strategies for limited Phosphorus Resources

The coordination cares for concepts and contents of the Priority Programme ‘Ecosystem nutrition’, manages data acquisition, provides infrastructure for data and knowledge exchange (internet platform, online data base), cares for the performance of the SPP within the scientific community and abroad (e.g. preparation of the homepage), enhances networking and directs cooperation to ensure meeting the goals of the SPP. This task will be performed by the speaker of the SPP supported by a scientific assistant and in close contact with the initiators of the SPP. For data exchange and conservation an online data base will be established. Networking will be supported by the setup of research clusters, by workshops and cooperation across thematic research clusters and by inspiring the constitution of a network of young scientists spread across all the clusters. Meetings, workshops and summer schools will be organised to initialise cooperation, further knowledge exchange and to promote young scientists.
