Das TGN/EE ist auch der Ausgangspunkt für die selektive Rezyklierung vakuolärer Sortierungsrezeptoren (VSRs) durch den Retromer Komplex und die ESCRT (endosomal sorting complex required for transport)-vermittelte Sortierung von zur Degradation bestimmter Membranproteine. Daher werden im TP A03 (Pimpl) die zugrundeliegenden molekularen Mechanismen dieser Sortierungsprozesse sowie deren Bedeutung für die Funktion, Dynamik und Morphologie der endosomalen Kompartimente analysiert.
