This is a student travel grant for the 2023 IEEE Workshop on Wide Bandgap Power Devices and Applications (WiPDA). This workshop has served as a conduit for the exchange of innovative ideas, groundbreaking research findings, and practical insights in the field of wide bandgap power electronics and its applications for several years. Attendees of this workshop will gain unparalleled access to renowned professionals, enabling them to explore the frontiers of power electronics and align their academic endeavors with real-world industry demands. The workshop agenda, including tutorials, technical sessions, panels, and exhibitions, will provide students with transformative experiences that bridge the gap between academia and industry. The broader impacts of the workshop will include convergence of research communities in power electronics and power systems, and also workforce development in the broad areas of clean energy. This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
