英文摘要
In recent years, phospholes emerged as photoluminescent materials and offer special properties useful for the development of devices in the area of molecular electronics. In this project we propose a synthetic access to a novel type of phospholes carrying silyl substituents in the beta-position of the phosphole system. The silyl units are intended to modulate the electronic situation of the phosphole and furthermore may serve as anchoring units for the attachment of the chromophores on surfaces. It is intended to attach phosphole units not only to macroscopic surfaces but also to oxide nanoparticles and POSS cages to investigate the interaction of the chromophores among each other. The attachment under mild conditions in an orderly fashion should allow to get insights into the properties of these chromophores at the solid interface. Ultimately, the results of this fundamental research may open the way to the discovery of novel materials and devices with low-energy excitation barriers on a long term base.
