2年目の今年度に実施した研究は，主に次の2つに集約できる。第1は，日本における企業の教育活動の動向分析である。特に，現行の学習指導要領のなかで実施が促されている「金融経済教育」に，金融機関がどのように関与しているかを調査した。金融機関による教育活動は，1970年代から80年代の消費者教育の黎明期には生命保険業界が関心を持ち取り組み始めていたが，2000年代に金融庁が進めたCSR奨励政策を経て，今日では政府による個人投資促進の経済政策を背景に，証券業界が学校へのアプローチを強めている。調査した範囲では，企業が用意するプログラムや出前授業の内容は，すべてが投資を直接扱っているわけではないが，いずれも児童生徒に資産形成への関心を持たせる意図がうかがえるものであり，こうしたところに，広義の宣伝の要素を確認することができた。第2の課題は，企業教材の作成や学校での利用の基準開発に関する調査である。先行事例として，1930年代から1980年代にアメリカの家政学研究者や教育関係者などによって宣伝の要素を最小限にするために開発されてきた複数の基準を分析した。その結果，最初期のものを除くと，基準は大綱的なものに過ぎなかったことが明らかになった。こうした成果は2022年10月開催の日本教育方法学会で発表済みである。このほか，韓国，インドネシア，アメリカ，カナダ，スウェーデンにおける企業の学校教育への関与とそれをめぐる議論等を対象にした調査を，初年度に引き続き実施した。特にカナダとスウェーデンについては現地に赴き資料収集を行った。このうち，インドネシアの企業の教育活動に関わる法規定をめぐる現状を明らかにした研究発表を2022年10月開催の日本国際教育学会で，韓国の教育CSRの課題を学校経営の視点から分析した研究発表を2023年2月開催の日本スクールコンプライアンス学会で，それぞれ実施した。
