2022年度は、本研究課題の最終年度にあたり、本研究課題の成果を博士学位請求論文としてまとめるとともに、研究課題にかかわる論集への執筆や資料調査を行い、本研究課題以後の研究課題への見通しを立てつつ研究活動を実施した。2021年度より継続して行ってきた柳田国男のテキストの同時代的分析は、2022年度ではとくに加藤玄智の新仏教運動や国家的神道論を主たる比較対象とすることで、当該期における神道論の立体的な把握を試み、「伝説」や「迷信」の評価の相異を分析した。この内容は、新稿として博士学位請求論文に「柳田国男と加藤玄智――新仏教運動・迷信・国家的神道」を収録している。2021年度に掲載予定として報告していた2本の論集への寄稿は、2022年10月刊行の栗田英彦編『「日本心霊学会」研究――霊術団体から学術出版への道』（人文書院）に「越境する編集者野村瑞城――『日本心霊』紙上の「神道」と「民俗」を中心に」が、2023年2月刊行の山下久夫・斎藤英喜編『平田篤胤 狂信から共振へ』（法藏館）に「柳田国男と「平田派」の系譜――大国隆正と宮地厳夫に注目して」がそれぞれ収録された。また、2022年度に執筆したものは、2023年3月刊行の伊藤聡・斎藤英喜編『神道の近代――アクチュアリティを問う』（勉誠出版）に「柳田国男と黎明期の神道研究――神道談話会を通して」が収録されている。また、2021年度には新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により十分な資料調査が行えなかったが、2022年度は資料調査によって神道談話会の開催記録をまとめることができた。この内容は、博士学位請求論文に「付録資料：神道談話会開催記録」として収録した。本研究課題の成果は、博士学位請求論文として2022年11月に佛教大学へ提出し、2023年3月に博士（文学）が授与された。
