项目摘要

当該年度は17世紀後半から18世紀にかけての仏書出版をその板元から解明するという目的の下、以下の調査ならびに研究発表を行った。一、「和刻本仏書に見る漢籍受容―『大明仁孝皇后勧善書』の展開とその翻訳に注目して― 」（第44回国際日本文学研究集会）…三教一致のテキストとして受容されてきたとされる『勧善書』が我が国においては日蓮宗所依文献として認知されていたことを示し、更に真宗・浄土宗に特徴的とされた「勧化」の語を『勧善書』の翻訳である『勧化錦鱗鈔』が用いてる点を取り上げてこれを版元主導の行為と特定した。二、「勧化の素材としての漢籍受容 ――〈倩女離魂〉を例として―― 」（2021年度日本近世文学会春季大会）…従来禅宗由来のストーリーと考えられてきた〈倩女離魂〉が近世前期における浄土宗・真宗系勧化本に収録されている事実を指摘する。2系統に分かれる勧化本系倩女離魂が成立した背景に従来指摘されてこなかった浄土宗・源誉著『本願直談略鈔』収録の倩女離魂を取り上げた。本書収録の倩女離魂は既知の倩女離魂とは異なるストーリーであり、少なくとも浄土宗系直談に独自の倩女離魂が伝来していたことが近世における勧化本への倩女離魂発現に繋がったと結論づけた。上記により、近世前期における仏教が出版により複数宗派の交雑化をはらんでいたことを明らかにした。
