本研究では，申請者らが対話システムにおけるリスクテイクの枠組みとして提案したリスキー・ポライトネス・ストラテジー（RPS）を対話システムが適切に制御できるモデルの構築を目的としている．令和3年度の取り組みとして，RPSを能動的に発話する方針の下でリスクに応じてRPSを制御する雑談対話システムを提案し，その有用性を検証した．具体的なRPSの制御方法としては，話し手と聞き手における対話の快適度の差分を基に低リスク高リターンな発話（不快にさせる可能性が低く，意図性を感じさせる可能性の高い発話）を優先的に出力する手法を設計した．提案システムが53名のユーザと対話を行った際の評価データ・対話ログを分析した．分析の結果，対話システムがRPSを発話する回数が，受容性に正の影響を与える傾向にあることが示された．また，対話システムがRPSを発話することはユーザとの親しげで感情豊かな対話を実現するために有用であることが示唆された．一方で，対話中のリスクには一貫性を持たせる必要があることも示唆された．この研究成果を人工知能学会論文誌に投稿し，特集「知的対話システム」に採録された．この他に，本研究の準備として取り組んでいたRPSの効果の基礎調査に関する論文が人工知能学会論文誌の特集「エージェント技術とその応用2021」に採録された．また本研究においては，RPS制御モデルの応用先の一つとして運転支援ロボットを想定している．そのため，運転支援ロボットにおけるポライトネス戦略の基礎調査を実施した．この成果は，The 9th International Conference on Human-Agent Interactionに採録され，Outstanding Research Awardを受賞した．この他，国内会議で2件の発表を行った．

This study aims to provide the applicant with a proposal for the appropriate control of the system. The purpose of this policy is to demonstrate the usefulness of the RPS initiative. The 9th International Conference on Human-Agent Interaction was awarded the Outstanding Research Award. The two domestic meetings were held in Beijing.
