项目摘要

今年度はハイデガー哲学に関する概説書の執筆と連動する形で、ハイデガーの思想が20世紀初頭以降のドイツの学問論的議論のうちでどのように位置づけられるかについて、さらに立ち入った検討を行った。その結果、明らかとなったのは、ハイデガーは19世紀終わりに勃興したドイツ青年運動の強い影響のもとに思想形成を行い、彼の「存在への問い」がドイツ青年運動がその再生を求めていた「フォルク」共同体に哲学的基礎を与える試みとして捉えられるということである。このような彼の哲学的志向は、同じくドイツ青年運動を基盤とする「新教育」運動にも共振するものであった。このことが1930年のハイデガーのベルリン大学への招聘に示されている。当時、プロイセン州では「新教育」運動に沿った教育改革が推進されていたが、ハイデガーはその精神的支柱として同州の最高学府に招聘されたと捉えられるのである。こうした「新教育」運動を推進する教育学者やそれを支持する若き学生たちにとっては、ナチスの政権掌握は運動の断絶というよりは、むしろ自分たちの理念を実現する絶好の機会として受け止められた。まさにハイデガーのフライブルク大学の学長就任も、こうした「新教育」運動全般のナチス肯定と軌を一にしたものだと捉えることが可能である。以上のように本研究では、ハイデガー哲学の学問論的、教育論的な背景をこれまでの研究にはない具体性をもって解明することができた。この研究成果は、『ハイデガーの哲学　『存在と時間』から後期の思索まで』（講談社現代新書、2023年6月刊行予定）として、幅広い読者に向けて発表される予定である。
