项目摘要

本研究は、近世後期の流行歌の木版本（詞章本）を通して、歌舞伎がどのように二次創作され、共有されたのか、音楽・歌詞・役者絵の３要素から明らかにすることを目的とする。３年間で計画された研究のうち、２年目である令和４年度は、流行歌の音楽と歌詞に関する調査を行った。主に以下の２点に取り組んだ。第一に、前年度に引き続き、1890年代に大阪の三木書店より出版された『西洋楽譜日本俗曲集』に関する資料調査を行った。『西洋楽譜　日本俗曲集』には、40曲以上の三味線俗曲の五線譜が収載され、幕末期から流行の三味線俗曲の旋律を伝えている。さらに、日本音楽の海外への伝播にも影響を与えた。調査では、初版から九版までの各版の特徴を明らかにし、三味線曲の五線譜化について考察した。研究の成果は「研究と報告「資料調査報告『西洋楽譜　日本俗曲集』」（『音楽学』第62巻2号、2023年）にまとめることができた。第二に、三味線俗曲の楽譜集に関する調査収集を行った。近世期の詞章本には歌詞が書かれているが、替歌が多く作られたため、歌詞のみで曲名を特定することが難しい。そこで、近代期以降に出版された楽譜に着目し、旋律と歌詞から曲名を特定することを試みた。1888年から1910年代に出版された五線譜22冊と、1950年代以降に出版された文化譜11冊について調査し、約900曲の収載曲のデータベースを作成した。データベースでは、曲名、歌い出しの歌詞、三味線の調弦の種類等を一覧にした。曲名や歌詞の漢字表記には異同があるため、平仮名でも入力し、曲の異同を確認しながら作成した。『仮名手本忠臣蔵』をはじめとする歌舞伎を題材にした歌詞についても調査を行った。
