今年度は、広く現地調査を進めていくにあたり、木喰行道の「自身像」や同時代の「自身像」について、過去の研究論文等から、事前に必要な情報収集・情報整理を進め、調査計画に反映させることを心掛けた。今年度は新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響で現地調査に反映させることはできなかったが、次年度以降は整理結果を踏まえた現地調査を実施し、さらなる情報収集に努めたい。
