项目摘要

手話言語は，複数の出力手段（手指および非手指標識：以後，NM形態素）により，同時に複数の文要素の外在化が可能である。この同時外在化特性からの知見が言語理論の構築にいかなる示唆を与えるのかが本研究課題の大きな目的である。R4年度は特に，CL動詞およびロール・シフト（以後，RS)を伴う文におけるVP様態副詞相当表現のNM形態素（以後，VP様態副詞NM形態素）の波及に注目して観察・分析を行い，その成果を国内学会にて発表した（日本言語学会，R4年６月18日）。R4(2022)年度の実績は主に以下の2点である。(i) R3(2021)年度に，同時外在化現象が関わる現象として，JSLの削除文における空項指示解釈について，CL動詞（SASS)、およびRSを伴った場合を取り上げ，VP様態副NM形態素に注目して，空項指示の事実とその統語構造の提案を試みた。空目的語の解釈が不定の要素（pro-SOMETHING)の場合，音形が伴わなくとも、削除文の中のVP様態副詞NM形態素の動詞への波及が阻止されていると考えられる現象を観察したが，その後のネイティブサイナーとの協働調査の中で，（非）CL動詞，RS，VP様態副詞NM形態素の波及には，より複雑な実態があることが見えてきた。そのため，R4(2022)年度では，より厳密にRSの領域を分類し，主にCL動詞におけるVP様態副詞NM形態素の波及可能性を調査した。その成果の一部は，国内学会で報告する予定である(採択済み）。(ii)R3年度に引き続き，JSLのNM形態素のみで生起する接続表現「頭の動き」を取り上げ，統語的識別テストの１つである取り出しテストに基づき，従来報告されてきた様々なタイプの接続表現としてのNM形態素が、どのような統語要素を繋ぎ，どのような構造を持つのか整理した。成果の一部は国内学会で報告した（日本言語学会，R4年６月18日）。
