项目摘要

本研究の目的は、言語教師のアイデンティティ形成（言語教師とは何者なのか）とエイジェンシー（言語教師としてどのような主体的行動をとってきたのか）の相互作用を調査することにある。その調査方法は、フィールドワークである。具体的には、調査協力者（言語教師）の勤務校を訪問し、インタビューを実施し、授業観察をし、その結果を分析することである。しかし、2022年度も、コロナ禍ににあり、私自身の外出が制限されてしまい、そのようなフィールドワークを実施することは不可能であったが、オンラインの研究会に参加し、研究の理論フレームワークや調査方法に関して再確認し、関係の文献を読むように心掛けた。しかしオンライン会議システム（zoomやwebex等）の普及により、そのシステムを通してインタビュー調査を実施し、録音し、文字起こしをすることが可能になった。2021年度に、神奈川県在住の1名の英語教師に、インタビューを3回実施したが、データ分析を終え、論文として出版することができた。2022年度には、1名の岩手県在住の高校英語教員に3回のインタビューを実施した。録音したデータの文字起こしを終了しているので、そのデータ分析を2023年度の8月までに終了し、10月までに出版に向けて論文を書き終える予定である。可能であれば、2023年度中にその英語教員の勤務校を訪問して授業観察を実施したいと願っている。
