2022年度の目標は、Web異文化交流を導入したパイロットプログラムの完成、実施、そしてその効果測定であった。以下に当該年度の実績概要をリスト化する。第一に、Web異文化交流の効果測定に必要な調査票を１つ完成させた。本年度は「異文化学習・異文化交流」に対する「自己効力感」に焦点を当てた。自己効力感とは、特定の目標を達成できると信じている感覚を指す。自己効力感が高まれば、困難に直面しても前向きにとらえて克服し、ゴール到達の可能性も高まると言われている。また、自己効力感の向上には成功体験の積み重ねが必要である。本調査票は、本プログラムを通して学習者の「異文化学習・異文化交流」に対する「自己効力感」がどの程度改善されたかを数値化する目的で完成させた。第二に、事前事後テストを作成した。本プログラムを通して学習者が新しい情報（とくに語彙）をどの程度学習できたかを数値化する目的で完成させた。第三に、「学習ストラテジー」の先行研究調査を行い、本プログラムにおける学習効率を高め、学習成果を向上させるであろうものを複数選抜した。今年度は「動機付けストラテジー」と「社会的ストラテジー」の導入を試みた。ウェブ異文化交流の最中や、その前後の自習・協働学習において、学習者がこれらストラテジーについて説明を受け、教員が使う手本を観察し、各自で使う練習ができるよう設定した。第四に、上述の調査票と事前事後テスト、学習ストラテジーおよび昨年度作成した教材を用いて、パイロットプログラムを実施した。第五に、収集したデータの分析を進め、本プログラムで学んだ者について、異文化学習・異文化交流に対する自己効力感が統計的に有意に向上していることを確認した。一方、語彙テストについては事前事後で得点に有意差が認められたものの、教材・テストには改善の余地が多いことを確認した。
