项目摘要

本研究は、主に民間の旧家や寺社等に保管されている中世の古文書・古記録類に関して、翻刻された活字史料集との異同を確認する原本調査を実施し、また、特に劣化した絵画史料や古文書類を赤外線カメラで撮影して下絵や摩滅で肉眼視できない作成当時の情報の判読に努めるものである。研究2年目は、国立歴史民俗博物館における中世武家文書調査、四国地域における中世末期文書の閲覧・解読・撮影作業、山陰地域における中世城館調査、九州地域における中・近世古地図調査、中部地域における中世城館調査、北陸地域における近世文書調査、および関東地域における中・近世絵画・書蹟等の調査を実施した。幅広い地域での原本史料の調査確認を行えたことで、本研究活動4年間の折り返し地点として、今後の重点研究の方向性を絞ることができつつある。また、各地での原本調査の過程において、地域社会のプロ・アマチュアの歴史研究者や史料所蔵者等との結び付きを強めることができたことにより、貴重な文化財の将来に向けての保存や活用についても理解を広げることができたように実感する。

The investigation and confirmation of original historical materials in the area of scope, the location of this research activity in the past 4 years, and the direction of future key research The process of original investigation in various places, the research of regional society, the research of historical materials, etc., are strongly related to the future direction of preservation and utilization of valuable cultural property.
