所属先の変更があり、その手続きが終了してから本格的に研究を再開できた。また、初年度の計画変更の影響と、新型コロナウイルス感染症の感染状況の関係もあり、当初計画を変更し、主に資料収集と関連研究検討を中心に地方調査の準備作業を行った。関連するニュース映画の把握や、新聞データベースでの国防写真隊関連記事の検索に努めるなど、新型コロナウイルスの影響を最小限にする方法で実施した。加えて特に関連研究の状況把握に努め、展示見学なども行うことができた。地方調査は計画とは異なるが、やっと年度末に京都・大阪での出張調査を実施することができた。また、広島の状況については、関係者とコンタクトをとり、研究状況等の概要を把握することができた。他の関係者との連絡は随時行い、今後の調査の準備に努めた。論文等での研究成果の報告は行えなかったが、データ整理等を進め、今後の発表に備えている。
