縄文土器の素材粘土採取時における色調による選択性を検討するために、昨年度から継続して胎土の色調についての分析方法を検討、計測を進めた。従来、土器の色調記録は、肉眼による土色帖との照合が主な方法であった。また記録箇所も土器1点につき代表的と考えられる部分を数箇所記録するに留まることが多かった。しかし、土器器面の色調は一様ではなく代表点を選択する際の恣意性が生じてしまう。そこで本研究においては、明らかな付着物等を除く残存器面の面積に応じて測定箇所を増やし、その組み合わせによって対象土器の色調を表現する方法を試行している。色調の計測には小型分光測色計を使用することで再現性の向上を図る。これにより、より実態に近い土器色調の記録が可能となると考えられる。今年度は、信濃川流域における縄文時代中期中葉から後葉の土器群76点について色調測定を実施した。当該期の対象地域には火焔型土器や大木式土器等が分布するが、出土地域や土器型式・系統によって色調傾向が異なることがある。今後、本測定により得られた色調情報をもとにその傾向についての検討を進めていくとともに、測定事例の蓄積も図っていく予定である。

When the corresponding area of the period is different from the distribution of fire-type earthenware and wood-type earthenware, the excavation area and the type and system of earthenware are different from each other. In the future, this measurement will obtain the hue information, and the tendency of the measurement will be determined.
