项目摘要

本年度は国内で資料調査を進めつつ、研究論文の作成に取り組んだ。当初の計画の通り、1950年代の日本の核政策と日米関係を主な研究対象とした。年度前半は、国会図書館や外務省外交史料館で資料調査を行いながら、英文のワーキングペーパーの作成に取り組んだ。同ペーパーでは。1950年代後半のNATOにおける核共有の進展を背景にドイツが核武装（在独米軍の核装備や核共有への参加）に向かうなか、日本において非核兵器政策が形成された経緯を検証し、NATOの核共有やドイツの核武装論議が日本の核政策論議に与えた影響を考察した。9月にはドイツのポツダムで開催された国際会議、The German Nuclear Question, Adenauer, and the International Order, 1955-1963に、同ペーパーを提出し、口頭報告を行った。諸般の事情により、現地に行くことができなかったため、口頭報告はオンラインで行った。会議出席者からのコメントや質問を通じて有益なフィードバックを得ることができた。ワークショップ後、その成果を英文の学術書として出版することになり、提出したペーパーが収録されることになったため、年度後半は、その原稿作成に取り組んだ。それと並行して、昨年度の研究成果として作成した研究論文の修正作業を進めた。この論文では1950年代から70年代の東アジア諸国・地域（日本、台湾、韓国）の核政策を研究対象とし　国内政治や安全保障環境、原子力開発の展開、米国の核不拡散政策に着目して比較の視点から考察した。同論文も英文の学術書の1章として刊行される予定であり、編集者から得た有益なコメントを踏まえて、追加の文献調査や論文の修正を行った。
