研究2年目である2022年度は、2021年度に実施したアンケート調査を用いて、夫妻の属性をコントロールした上で、 ①夫妻のテレワーク実施状況と理想と現実の生活時間の乖離との関係、②夫妻のテレワーク実施状況と回答者自身の家事負担感、育児負担感との関係、③夫妻のテレワーク実施状況と配偶者に対する家事負担、育児負担の考え方との関係、の3点について回帰分析を行った。その結果、判明したことは以下の3点である。第1に、夫妻ともにテレワーク実施経験がある場合、夫妻ともにテレワーク実施経験がない場合と比べて妻の育児時間は理想と現実とが乖離する確率が小さくなることがわかった。また、夫の場合は夫妻ともにテレワーク実施経験がない場合と比べ、夫妻ともにテレワーク実施経験があると実際の家事時間や育児時間は理想とするそれと比べて長くなりやすい。第2に、夫妻のテレワーク実施状況と回答者自身の家事負担感、育児負担感の考え方に関して、アンケート回答者が夫の場合、夫妻ともにテレワーク実施経験がない場合と比べ、夫妻ともにテレワーク実施経験があると、夫自身の家事負担と育児負担を減らしたいと感じる傾向にある。また、アンケート回答者が妻の場合、夫妻ともにテレワーク実施経験がない場合と比べ、夫のみテレワーク実施経験があると妻は自らの家事負担を減らしたいと感じる傾向にある。第3に、夫妻のテレワーク実施状況と配偶者に対する家事負担感、育児負担感の考え方に関して、夫は夫妻ともにテレワーク実施経験がない場合と比べ、夫妻ともにテレワーク実施経験がある場合に妻の育児負担はより少なくても良いと考えている。妻の場合、夫妻ともにテレワーク実施経験がない場合と比べ、夫のみテレワーク経験がある場合に夫に対して今よりも家事を負担してほしいと感じる傾向が確認できた。今後はこの分析から得られた結果の頑健性を検証する必要がある。
