研究代表者は天然資源へのアクセス状況が異なる2民族に、親から子への選好の文化伝達という要素を加えたモデルを構築した。研究分担者は2021年度に引き続き、関連先行研究のサーベイを実施した。これらの研究実績をまとめると、以下の2点となる。 第１に、天然資源や海外援助の増加が民族間の所得格差をより拡大し、永続的に解消しないことを説明するために、青木・金盛・土居（2020）に、Bisin and Verdier(2001)などの選好の文化伝達モデルを組み入れた。これにより天然資源や海外援助の増加が民族間の資源獲得競争を誘発し、民族間の所得格差をより大きくさせ、その格差は選好の文化伝達によって持続的な効果を生じることにより、所得格差はより拡大し続けることを示した。本モデルにより、天然資源や海外援助の増加による民族間の所得格差をどのように縮小させるかの政策的示唆を導くことが可能になる。 第２に、上記の研究に関する結果の一つを論文にまとめ、2023年度中に学術雑誌に投稿する予定である。また、他の研究結果は、2024年度中に投稿する予定であり、論文に必要なサーベイを行っている。＜参考文献＞青木芳将・金盛直茂・土居潤子（2020）,「天然資源が民族間所得格差に与える影響」, 『經濟學研究』, 69(2), 77-90.A.Bisin and T.Verdier （2001),“The Economics of Cultural Transmission and the Dynamics of Preferences”, Journal of Economic Theory, 97(2), 298-319.
