项目摘要

今年度はBoston 大学の小西秀男教授及び法政大学の小林教授と行っている集団コンテストにおける個別報酬制に関する共同研究において大きな進展があった。当初我々は、集団内の個人間の貢献の補完関係をCES関数によって表現するという、従来からある枠組みの中で個別報酬制の議論を行っていたが、これをホモセティックな関数形に拡張しても我々のこれまでの研究成果の大半が維持できることが判明したのである。この発見により、従来CES関数により集団内の貢献の補完性の程度までしか論じることができなかった集団内の協業と分業の構造に関して、一般的多層的定式化への展望が大きく開けることとなった。その副産物として、集団内の補完関係を2段階CES関数で表現した集団間コンテストの分析結果を、報告者個人の論文として公刊した。新しい発見の具体的応用例を増やすという意味で、共同研究への追加的貢献にもなった。論文『明示的内部構造を有する集団によるコンテストについて』概要：2段階CES関数によって集団の活動水準が表されるという定式化により、競合集団の各々が下位集団およびその外部に居る個人という構成で表現される内部構造を持つ方向に、集団コンテストモデルを一般化した。この構造の現実における例としては、レーシングチームのメカニックグループとレーサー、政治団体内の運動員集団と監督者、タクシードライバーと配車係などを挙げることができよう。その上で、集団の勝利確率を最大化するという意味で最適な報酬体系の特徴づけを行い、下位集団の個人間の貢献の補完性および集団内個人の異質性の程度の変化が、下位集団の個人及びその外に居る（同一集団の）個人の報酬に及ぼす影響を分析した。その結果、下位集団に属する個人の能力のばらつきが大きいほど、外に居る個人の最適報酬は低下することが明らかになった。
