2022(令和4)年度は、資料調査を行うとともに、論文を1本(2023年3月刊行の『エネルギー史研究』に掲載)、書評を1本(2022年12月刊行の『経営史学』に掲載)をそれぞれ執筆している。また2023(令和5)年度に行う学会報告2本(社会経済史学会および日本経済思想史学会)のアプライと、論文1本の提出を行った。具体的には、2022年8月および2023年3月に、沖縄県立図書館および那覇市立図書館へと資料調査に出かけ、アメリカ占領下の沖縄電力業に関する論文を執筆するための資料収集を行うとともに、同時期のその他の産業に関する資料調査も並行して行った。また、同資料調査での成果も利用しつつ論文を執筆するとともに、経営史学会から依頼された書評の執筆も行った。沖縄の電力業は、1972(昭和47)年5月の沖縄の本土復帰以後は、若干の発送電と配電の分離期間を挟みつつも本土の9電力体制と同じ水準の10電力体制へと収斂されていく。従来の研究史では、この10電力体制への収斂をある程度の予定調和的なものとして描いていたのであるが、今回の研究により日本本土の通商産業省の方針を打破すべく琉球政府などが奮闘した産物であることが明らかになった。特に、屋良朝苗政権下で、砂川恵勝局長が率いる琉球政府通商産業局が旗振り役となった。屋良政権は革新政権であり、労働組合の影響も強かった。以上のような資料調査および研究を行っていく過程で、西表島の開発計画に関する1点物の資料を発掘することに成功した。そのため、2023年度の日本経済思想史学会での報告のアプライは西表島の開発計画に関するものとなった。
