地域住民を対象にした無作為割付による食事介入研究(チャンプルースタディ)を継続的に実施し、近年は、学童と親(延べ約3,000人)を対象とした小学校区単位の介入研究を行ってきた。この研究を一貫して持続的に発展させるために、対象を食習慣が固定する前の幼児(0.5-5歳児)を対象に親（特に母親）の食習慣が与える影響因子を、客観的に把握することが重要であることが考えられた。近年、腸内細菌叢組成と食事・肥満との関連性が急速に明らかになり、小児肥満が腸内細菌叢や行動因子が、どのように影響し、これらの関係因子を明らかにする重要性が指摘されている。特に、母親と子供の食習慣が腸内環境に与える相互的影響因子を家庭および地域の両方で横断的に探索し、両者の食習慣の相関と腸内細菌叢の分布を示す基礎的データの測定は、今後の疫学研究に重要な知見となると考えられるが、わが国においてほとんど実施されていないのが現状である。本研究において、母子の食習慣が腸内細菌叢に与える影響因子が明らかになれば、幼児の早期の肥満リスクの解明に貢献すると考えられる。本年も沖縄県における新型コロナウイルス感染症の感染持続により、対象となる保育園施設の入園禁止措置が継続した。保育園施設の管理責任者への協力依頼が困難であり、保護者および児童からの腸内細菌測定のための試料収集は不可能であった。これまでに収集した沖縄における母子の食習慣と社会経済因子との関連性について、基礎的なデータの収集と解析を持続した。2023年に入り、感染状況は落ち着きを見せ始めており、保護者・保育園からの協力が期待できると思われる。

The research on food intervention for local residents and children (about 3,000 people) has been carried out in recent years. This study is consistent with the development of children (0.5-5 years old) eating habits of parents (especially mothers). In recent years, the relationship between intestinal flora composition and food and fertilizer has been criticized for its importance in the rapid development of intestinal flora and its action factors. In particular, maternal and child feeding habits affect the intestinal environment and the interaction between factors, family and geographical cross-section of the study, the study of the distribution of intestinal bacterial flora related to maternal and child feeding habits, and the determination of the basis for future epidemiological research. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of maternal and child eating habits on intestinal flora and early development of young children. This year, the number of new types of infectious diseases in the nursery was increased. It is difficult for those responsible for the management of the nursery to cooperate, and it is impossible to collect samples for the determination of intestinal bacteria. The relationship between maternal and child eating habits and social factors, and the analysis of basic food habits and social factors are discussed. In 2023, the infection status was changed from the beginning to the beginning, and the protector and the nursery were expected to cooperate.
