项目摘要

本年度は、本来、高校生対象の質問紙調査および学校(高校)にたいするインタビュー調査を実施する予定であり、首都圏自治体の教育委員会と調整を行った。しかしながら、コロナ禍の影響を強く受けた高校生を対象とすることやコロナ対応に追われるなかでの学校調査の困難さを鑑みて時期を延期することを決断した。その代わりに調査の枠組みを練り上げることとし、とくに学びの文化をさぐるにあたり、高校時の学びにとどまらない枠組みとすることを企図した。ここでは、高大接続の観点から高校生の先にある学びを捉える調査枠組みの構築が必要であることが浮上した。このとき、示唆的であったのが、大学生を対象とした国際比較調査であるSERUであった。SERUの枠組みを高校生に適用することを考えていたところ、別の科研費プロジェクトである「現代日本における「大学生の学習行動」に関する総合的研究」(代表:濱中淳子)がSERUについての聞き取り調査および教員・学生に対するインタビュー調査を中心とする「米国訪問調査」するという情報を得、急遽、コラボレーションによる学際的な調査を行うこととした。ここからは学習時間やスキルといった調査項目のもつ位置づけ・意味が日本とは異なっていること、米国の教育システムが学生の学びを集中化させる仕組みを発達させていること、そうした中で学生の社会化が行われていることが見えてきた。この調査から、学習像を能力・スキル修得モデルから文化モデルへの転換(学習像の文化論的転換)を図る調査枠組みの着想を得ることができた。そのほか、1.日本の高校の教員からの学び文化の情報提供を受け、2.米国で行った学生調査を経て、日本の大学における「学びの文化に関する学際的調査」を行った。
