项目摘要

本研究では、1990年代の少女マンガ文化の代表的雑誌である『りぼん』『なかよし』『ちゃお』の3誌を対象に、どのような恋愛（異性愛）や少女同士の友愛が描かれていたかを分析し、1990年代少女マンガにおける異性愛規範とジェンダー規範に関する表現について考察する。そのうえで、当時の読者たちがどのように各雑誌や掲載作品の物語を読解していたかを調査する。こうした分析や調査から、少女マンガというメディア文化が描いた規範の問題と、その解釈について明らかにする。この研究課題のもと、2022年度はマンガ雑誌資料の調査と作品分析を中心に研究をおこなった。①　京都国際マンガミュージアムや国立国会図書館に所蔵されている雑誌資料をもちいた調査を実施した。各誌に掲載された作品の情報をまとめ、各誌の表紙を手がけた作品や誌面にカラー扉ページで登場した作品、雑誌の付録を担当した作品の件数などを調査した。表紙やカラー扉ページなどを中心にみたのは、各雑誌・各時代に読者の支持を集めるうえで効果があったと考えられる作品、つまり「人気作」を把握するためである。『りぼん』（集英社）と『なかよし』（講談社）については、おおむね誌面調査を終えることができた。②雑誌資料の調査結果をふまえ、『りぼん』『なかよし』両誌で表紙やカラーページ、付録を多く担当していたマンガ作品をピックアップした。それらの作品のキャラクターやストーリー構成の特徴を分析し、異性愛規範とジェンダー規範について考察を進めた。作品分析には、現在手に入れることのできる単行本をもちいた。この時点での成果として、学会での研究発表1件のほか、論文の投稿1件、調査報告の発表1件をおこなった。
