幼児や特別なニーズのある子どもへのトラウマインフォームドケア（TIC）実践のために、TICの4つの鍵概念に沿って、初年度に取り組んだRealizeのための実態調査の結果をふまえ、次の段階のRecognizeとRespondに関する検討を進めた。前年度から継続的に社会的養護のもとで育つ子どもの在籍が多い小学校を対象としたフィールドワーク（計9回、63時間）を行ない、トラウマをかかえる子どもの学校での行動の把握と教職員の関わりについてのデータを収集した。児童養護施設との連携状況も把握し、事例への対応のポイントと課題を抽出した。学校や施設では、顕在化した子どもの言動に着目し、それに対する介入計画が立てられやすいが、行動の背景をTICの視点で包括的に捉えるための支援チームの共通認識が求められる。また、職員室や検討会議が教職員にとって安全な場である必要がある。加えて、今年度から乳児院へと調査対象を広げ、職員（24名）へのアンケートとヒアリング調査を実施した。乳児院におけるTICは、被虐待やネグレクト等による乳幼児のトラウマの影響だけでなく、一時的な保護の役割を担う職員自身の喪失に伴う悲嘆（グリーフ）や葛藤もあり、複雑な影響があることが把握された。実施計画としていたTICの教材化に関して、今年度、特別なニーズのある子どもの理解に向けた情報として、性被害や性問題行動、セクシュアリティに関する課題等のある児童・思春期の支援モデルをまとめた書籍を出版した。また、幼児に関する文献レビューと乳児院での調査データをもとにした論文を投稿した。これらをより一般化した教材にするために、次年度も継続的なフィールドワークと教材を用いた研修実施後の事後調査を行ない、適切な対応と再トラウマの予防（Resist retraumatization）に向けた検討を行う予定である。
