本研究課題の目的は、研究不正を行った研究者へのリハビリプログラム（再発防止を念頭においたプログラム）を提供する体制の構築である。筆者らは医学系研究を主な研究対象領域と定め、2021年度に日本における研究不正要因の把握、2022度は研究不正の環境要因の同定を研究の目標としていた。2021年度には、実際に起きた研究不正の要因を把握することを目的に、研究機関が報告した研究不正の調査報告書10編を対象として調査書の内容を分析した。クレッシーの不正のトライアングル理論では「機会」「動機・プレッシャー」「正当化」の3要素のうち1つでも要素が欠ければ不正が起きにくくなると言われているが、今回の分析の結果、不正のトライアングルの3要素が揃っていなくても研究不正は起きていると推測された。この結果を2022年に学会で発表した。これらの結果を踏まえ、定期的に開催している研究会では、研究不正を行う心理をより説明できる行動科学の理論を検討した。しかし、不正の種類、研究者の人数（単独、グループの別）、医歯薬系の研究室メンバー総出で研究を行う風土など考慮すべき要素が多く、理論・モデルの選定には至らなかった。筆者らは「盗用」に焦点を絞って、いくつかの状況に分けて不正のモデルやその構成概念を検討することとした。そのためには、盗用の態度を測定する尺度の下位概念を把握することが有用と考え、世界で用いられている盗用の態度を測定する尺度を調査した。その結果、多言語に翻訳されている盗用の態度を測定する尺度を把握でき、翻訳後の信頼性と妥当性の検討において、下位概念が変わっているものがあることを把握できた。

The purpose of this research project is to provide institutional framework for the prevention of re-development of ideas by researchers who are not conducting research.
