令和４年度は、前年度の予備調査による結果を踏まえ、本調査を実施した。予備調査の分析では、ナショナルアイデンティティと社会に対する公正感、および責任に関する規範の関係について検討を行った。分析結果をまとめ、論文を作成し、現在は投稿先を検討している。また、これとは別に、同じ国民であることを感じさせる心理的要因についても分析を行い、論文集への掲載を準備中である。本調査は次の要領で実施した。調査票の質問内容は、ナショナルアイデンティティ、日本社会に対する公正感、社会的格差に対する態度、一般的な道徳観、文化的自己観などに関する質問群と、性別、年齢、学歴、職業、所得、自己の経済的階層の認知、職業以外の社会活動、支持している政党などに関する人口統計的質問によって構成された。令和５年１月１３日から２月２８日にかけて調査票を配布回収した。調査対象者は北海道６都市に居住する、令和４年１１月１日時点で満１８歳以上、８５歳以下の男女とした。対象地域は札幌市（中央区・北区・西区・豊平区）、旭川市、函館市、釧路市、岩見沢市、帯広市であった。調査票は札幌市４区および各都市各１５ ０件、合計1,350件を送付した。回収数は５３１件で回収率は３９．３％であった。調査方法は札幌市４区および各都市 の選挙人名簿から、系統抽出・割当法により調査対象に該当する１，３５０ 名を抽出し、郵送により配布、返信用封筒で回収を行った。回収データを用いて、単純集計を行い、結果を所属する大学のウェブサイトにおいて公開している。
