令和4年度は、主要設備機器である三次元スキャナーLaica BKL360の試運転とデータ処理の方法の模索を行った。三次元スキャナーの試運転を行うために、研究協力を得られた民家を対象として行った。測定時におけるキャリブレーションの調整、最適解像度の決定、数GBを超える点群データのベクトルデータ化の手順のマニュアル化を行っている。本年度も、世界的なコロナ禍ということもあり海外調査等の資料収集活動の実施が厳しい状況にあった。そこで、令和5年以降に実施予定である制作手法研究の試行的活動を行った。イサムノグチの彫刻は、その中を鑑賞者が主体的に動くことにより現れるImaginary Landscapeであった。この体験流としての空間、すなわち現象的空間の汎用化の試みとして制作手法論の構築を構想している（当初予定では令和5年以降に開始）。イサムノグチのplaygroundは、子どもの主体的な遊びを誘発し、遊びそのもの動態を彫刻として表明されている。そこで実際に小学生を対象として遊びワークショップを実施し、子どもの遊びのシークエンス単位を抽出し、遊びの意図に即してシークエンス単位を再構成する手法を検討した。遊びの中で現れる変化を繰り返し再現するためにも、遊具をヴァーチャル空間（VR）においてモデル化し、リアルタイム映像で再現する手法の検討を行った。このVR化までの一連の作業を検証することで、計画調書に記した「制作手法論」の構築に向けた基礎的な知見を得ることができた。一方、共同研究者の研究担当である「制作思想」の解明については、イサムノグチの言説の分析を通じて、イスラエルに建設されたエルサレム国立博物館の彫刻庭園に関する景観構造を明らかにした「イサム・ノグチのgardenにおける景観論的研究―エルサレム国立博物館の彫刻庭園―」を令和5年３月には脱稿をし、査読論文として提出予定である。
