The objective of this project is the integration of piezoceramic modules into aluminum components by die-casting. Besides controlling the thermo-mechanical loads during casting, one main challenge is the development of integration technologies for sensitive electronic devices suitable for mass production. Furthermore numerical simulation tools are used to solve casting and composite problems.
