本年度の研究実績に関して、エネルギー経済学分野のトップジャーナルに３本の論文を掲載しました。研究の概要は以下の通りです。1本目の論文は、バイオ燃料生産の急増がエネルギーと食料安全保障にどのような影響を与えるのかをアプローチしたものです。バイオ燃料の価格とその原料となる食料価格がどのように連動しているかについて、パーシャル・ウェーブレット解析を用いて実証しました。分析の結果、バイオエタノールとトウモロコシの価格には、短い周期で強い相関関係があることが判明しました。この論文は、米国のバイオ燃料政策が自国のエネルギー自給率を高める一方、資源配分の効率性と食料安全保障に悪影響を与える可能性があることを示しました。この研究の成果は、エネルギー経済学分野のトップジャーナル「Energy Economics」に掲載しました。2本目の論文では、バイオ燃料の生産量、農産物への金融投機、国際エネルギー価格、国際食料価格などの要因がアフリカの食料価格指数との関連性を時変パラメーターベクトル自己回帰モデルで分析しました。その結果、米国のバイオ燃料生産がアフリカの食料価格に大きな影響を与えることを示しました。アフリカ諸国は、食料の多様化や自給率向上などの対策を取る必要があると提言しました。この論文も「Energy　Economics」に掲載されました。3本目の論文は、米国のバイオディーゼル、原油、大豆の価格に関する共変動と因果関係について、ウェーブレットと時変パラメーターベクトル自己回帰を用いて分析しました。主な結果として、バイオディーゼルと大豆の価格には因果関係があることが明らかになりました。また、原油とバイオディーゼルが大豆の価格に伝達効果を持つことも確認されました。この研究は、バイオ燃料の国際専門誌「GCB Bioenergy」に掲載されました。

This year's research results are related to the development of the academic field. Three papers are published. A summary of the study is provided below. 1. This paper focuses on the impact of rapid fuel production growth and food safety on food safety. The raw materials of the fuel and the raw materials of the food are analyzed in the middle of the process. The results of the analysis show that the correlation between the two groups is strong. This paper discusses the impact and possibility of the country's fuel policy on the country's self-sufficiency rate, resource allocation and food security. This paper analyzes the relationship between fuel production, financial speculation of agricultural products, international production standards, international food standards and food quality indexes. As a result, the United States has a large impact on fuel production and food production. The diversity of food and agriculture is essential for the development of sustainable agriculture. This paper was published in "Energy Economics." 3. In this paper, the author analyzes the relationship between oil and soybean, oil and soybean, and the relationship between cause and effect. The main result is that there is no causal relationship between the two. The results of crude oil production are confirmed. This research was published in the international journal GCB Bioenergy.
