卵巣成熟奇形腫3例、卵巣未熟奇形腫1例、卵黄嚢腫瘍5例について、以下の検討を行った。1.それぞれの手術材料（ホルマリン固定パラフィン包埋材料）から腫瘍部、非腫瘍部のDNAを抽出した。未熟奇形腫では未熟成分、成熟成分、および顕微鏡的な卵黄嚢腫瘍成分を分けてDNAを抽出した。奇形腫では4例中4例で量的及び質的に解析可能なDNAが得られたが、卵黄嚢腫瘍では5例のうち1例は解析に不適と判断された。2. 卵巣の成熟奇形腫3例、未熟奇形腫1例および卵黄嚢腫瘍4例についてMS-MLPA(methylation-sensitive multiplex ligation-dependent probe amprification)解析を行なった。未熟奇形腫では、未熟成分、成熟成分および顕微鏡的な卵黄嚢腫瘍成分を分けて解析した。成熟奇形腫におけるインプリント遺伝子のDNAメチル化状態はmaternal imprintingのパターンであったが、卵黄嚢腫瘍ではランダムなパターンであった。一方で、未熟奇形腫に伴う顕微鏡的な卵黄嚢腫瘍成分は、未熟成分、成熟成分と同様、maternal imprintingのパターンであった。
