项目摘要

今回の研究における手法として、コンピューター解析による脳波の性質を調べるためのソフトウエアの確立が重要であり時間がかかる。この前段階の解析のためのソフトはすでに確立してきており、いくつかの症例で実際に解析をトライして、論文化を進めている。1つ目は、小脳腫瘍摘除後の無言症とよばれる、脳機能の低下を起こす疾患をもった患者における脳波周波数解析とその周波数帯域ごとのパワーの変化を検証し、臨床情報に合致したと思われる結果を得たためまとめて、Brain and Development誌にて発表され成果を得た(doi: 10.1016/j.braindev.2022.06.006.)。2つ目は急性脳症とよばれる、脳の機能異常を起こす疾患の脳波周波数の解析を行い、同様にパワーおよび接続性において、予後と関連する結果を得たため、現在投稿前の論文のまとめ最終段階にある。3つ目はWest症候群における脳波によるACTH療法の予後予測をする研究であり、脳波の接続性と速波パワーにより予後を予見できることを証明し、Clinical neurophyisiologyに掲載された（doi: 10.1016/j.clinph.2022.10.004. ）。4つ目は”中心側頭部に速波をもつ小児てんかん”という疾患が頭皮脳波により予後予測を可能であるということを証明し、Yonago Acta Medicaにて発表した（ doi: 10.33160/yam.2023.02.006. ）。5つ目が、本幹の研究であるが、特発全般てんかんを中心とした脳波と治療予後の相関を調べる研究においては、脳波データについて各研究協力者から得ており、現在、脳波解析ソフトを用いて解析を進めているところである。最適な解析方法を模索中であるため、まだしばらく時間がかかる段階である。今後再度ソフト開発担当の研究分担者と相談し、よりよいソフトの開発を行ってゆく段階にある。また、データもまだ全員分は得られておらず、現在収集中である。
