１）劇症１型糖尿病患者およびモデルマウスの膵組織における鍵分子の発現：抗PD－１抗体薬投与後に１型糖尿病を発症した症例の剖検膵を用い、免疫組織化学的検討を行なっている。２）劇症１型糖尿病患者におけるCD300eの解析：劇症1型糖尿病、自己免疫性1型糖尿病、2型糖尿病、健常者の末梢血中から単離した樹状細胞と単球（一部）におけるCD300eの発現をフローサイトメトリーで測定した。その結果、自己免疫性1型糖尿病のみ、その単球における CD300e陽性細胞の割合が高かった (p <0.05)。また、CD300e陽性細胞の割合は、女性が高く、推定糸球体濾過率および年齢と負の相関を認めた(p <0.05)。糖尿病亜型間で、CD300のリガンドであるスフィンゴミエリンによる刺激後に測定した単球のTNF-α産生に差を認めなかった。以上より、CD300eの生理学的特徴に関する情報の一部と、自己免疫性1型糖尿病の病因におけるCD300eの役割の一部が明らかになった。３）高齢者劇症１型糖尿病の臨床的特徴の検討と治療への提案：高齢者1型糖尿病における、血糖コントロールと認知機能の関係を明らかにする目的で、65歳以上の高齢者1型糖尿病(年齢74.9±6.7歳、HbA1c7.9 ± 0.9%)において、臨床指標を検討した。重症低血糖エピソードの数は過去 5 年間で0.6 ± 1.2であった。長谷川式認知症尺度、ミニメンタルステート検査、認知症評価シート21の臨床データと認知症スコアを分析した。その結果、HbA1cと前２者は有意な相関を認めた。重症低血糖エピソードの数と、３者との間に有意な相関を認めた。重症低血糖を経験したグループでは、年齢調整後も３者は有意差を認めた。以上より、1型糖尿病の高齢者では、高 HbA1cと、重症低血糖エピソードの病歴が、認知機能の低下に関連していることが示唆された。

CD300e positive cells were significantly higher in females than in males, and putative glomerular filtration rate was negatively correlated with age (p <0.05). CD300 levels were measured between diabetes mellitus and diabetes mellitus after stimulation. Part of the information on the physiological characteristics of CD300e and part of the information on the pathogenesis of autoimmune type 1 diabetes mellitus are described above. 3) Clinical characteristics and treatment of type 1 diabetes mellitus in patients with hypertension: To clarify the relationship between blood glucose and cognitive function in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus in patients with hypertension, and to investigate clinical indicators in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus aged 65 years and older (74.9±6.7 years, HbA1c 7.9 ± 0.9%). The number of severe hypoglycemia cases decreased by 0.6 ± 1.2 in the past 5 years.
