(1) プライマリケア(PC)医の地方・都市部間の移動の実態と地方勤務を継続する要因：内科医をプライマリケアを担当する医師として解析を行った。人口密度第1三分位の市区町村の解析では、女性が地方勤務継続に対し有意に高いオッズ比(OR)を示し、内科サブスペシャリティ(SS)専門医の取得が有意に低いORを示した。第２三分位では、内科SS専門医の獲得と維持が地方移動に対する有意に低いORを示した。第3三分位では、内科SS専門医の獲得が地方移動に対する有意に低いORを示した。年齢層別解析では、女性の地方勤務継続に有意差を認めたのは40～59歳のみであった。また、第２三分位の39歳以下で主たる仕事を内科としたものが有意に高いORを示し、第１三分位の40～59歳でも主たる仕事が内科としたものでORが有意に高かった。内科SS専門医の獲得や維持が地方勤務の阻害要因の可能性があり、主たる業務を内科SSとしている内科医も地方勤務をしない傾向がある。一旦地方勤務を開始すると女性の方が継続する可能性がある。(2) 保健所医師の転出の実態と保健所勤務を継続する要因：公衆衛生医からの転出については、女性が有意に低いORの一方、若年者や専門医保持者が有意に高いORであった。医師全体の公衆衛生医への転身についての解析では、女性、35-39歳であることが有意に高いOR、専門医保持が有意に低いORであった。臨床医の公衆衛生医への転身についての解析では、35-39歳が有意に高いOR、２つ以上の専門医保持が有意に低いOR、診療所の勤務医であることが有意に高いORであった。外科やその他の専門が有意に低いORであったが、小児科や精神科/心療内科が有意に高いORであった。(4) 地方の小規模医療機関の産業保健活動の実態と改善策の解明：調査票を作成し、倫理審査を終了して、発送準備が完了した。
