项目摘要

学校教員の労働や健康に関する実態把握を通じ、COVID-19による労働環境の変化が学校教員の健康状態や健康関連行動に及ぼす影響を縦断的に明らかにすることを目的として、本研究に取り組んだ。郡山市健康振興財団が実施する定期健診を受診した小中学校の教員を対象とした。2021年度は、COVID-19流行前後の2019年度と2020年度に2年連続して定期健診を受診した学校教員の健康関連行動に関する実態把握を行った。その結果、間食回数、外食回数、残業時間に有意な変化を認め、残業時間に関しては、COVID-19流行後に残業時間が改善している者と悪化している者が有意に増加していることが明らかとなった。さらに、2022年度は、残業時間を超過勤務上限の目安である45時間以内と45時間超に分類し、COVID-19流行前後の残業時間について年代別に分析した。その結果、COVID-19流行前後で年代別の残業時間の割合に有意差は見られなかったものの、月45時間超の残業時間の割合は40代でのみ増加していた。一方、50代以上ではCOVID-19流行後に月45時間を超える残業時間の割合が有意に減少していた。年代別で異なる結果を示していたことは、COVID-19流行後の業務量の変化に偏りが生じていると示唆される。また、COVID-19の流行前と流行後の2年間における変化が一時的なものなのかは経時的に追跡する必要があり、さらに残業時間の変化が学校教員の生活習慣や健康状態に与える影響について分析が必要と考えた。この結果は日本公衆衛生学会にて発表した。
