目的：化学療法・放射線療法同時併用療法（CCRT）開始前、治療開始から2・4・6週間後、治療終了1・3・6・9か月後の急性期から晩期における摂食嚥下機能を明らかにする。方法：CCRTを予定している中咽頭・下咽頭・喉頭癌患者に対し①急性期の有害反応である口腔粘膜炎、放射線性皮膚炎は有害事象共通用語規準日本語訳を用いて、口腔・咽頭・頸部の皮膚の疼痛はNRSを用いて評定した。②唾液の機能である緩衝作用のpHと抗菌作用をもつLactoferrinを測定した。③摂食嚥下機能は、舌圧、改訂水飲みテスト、反復唾液嚥下テスト、頸部聴診にて測定した。④栄養状態は骨格筋量をInBody770を用いて、⑤QOL はEORTC QLQ H&N-43（日本語版）を用いて測定した。分析：2021年10月～2023年3月までに条件を満たした31名に説明し29名から同意を得た。29名のうち研究中に死亡2名、中止が2名あった。死亡・中止までのデータ使用の同意を得て治療開始から治療6週間後までの27名のデータを分析した。結果：男性23名、女性4名、平均年齢59.7±11.9歳、中咽頭癌16名、下咽頭癌8名、喉頭癌3名。全員がシスプラチンを1回/4週を3回、強度変調放射線治療を2Gy/回を35回（70Gy）を施行中である。フリードマン検定の結果、治療前から治療開始6週間後まで口腔粘膜炎や頸部の皮膚炎の程度は有意に増加し、口腔・咽頭・頸部の皮膚の疼痛の程度が増加した。唾液のpHは治療に伴い酸性に傾く傾向があった。舌圧は治療に伴い低下傾向を示し、改訂水飲みテスト・反復唾液嚥下テストは陽性者が増加した。QOLは，治療前と比較して治療開始4週間後では嚥下の問題、口腔乾燥、感覚の問題、皮膚の問題、ボディイメージの症状が有意に増加した。データ収集と同時に国内外文献検討からCCRT中・後の摂食嚥下訓練の内容を検討した。
