この研究は人工呼吸器が今後どのように進化しても、人工呼吸器に適応・応用可能な能力を身につけられる人工呼吸器ケアの自立学習プログラムの基盤を確立する。今年度は、急性期人工呼吸器ケアの苦手意識の実態と学習教材開発のために、WEBアプリケーション（以下WEBアプリ）の試作品を完成させた。WEBアプリの特徴は、スマートフォンにアプリケーションをダウンロードしなくても使用可能で、スマートフォンの機種等に依存しないため、利用者はダウンロード要件を気にすることがなく、作成者は、プログラミング言語も汎用性が高いものを使えて修正もしやすい。今回は、昨年度作成したWEBアプリのアップデート、前年度指摘があった問題数の減量に伴い内容の厳選をおこなった。システム変更要件は、研究協力者のアンケートと学習教材データ収納先が二つあり、これらの断絶が起きないように、スムーズな手続きを可能にした。具体的には、①学習教材を外部サーバー内にWEBアプリが設置しやすい枠、Contents Management System：CMSで設置した。②研究同意および研究協力者の登録画面と、CMS内に教材作成を行い、同意・アンケート、学習活動の流れがスムーズとなった試作品が完成した。問題数については、当初予定の1/5量まで低下させたため、学習者のレジネス、学習目標、学習分野の構成バランスを含めて再検討を行った。調査に向けて、研究対象者のプロモーション活動としてSNS（ソーシャルネットワークサービス）の準備とパンフレットを作成した。試作品のパイロット調査のため最終動作確認を行っている。
