2022年度は、前年度に引き続き胃癌切除標本を用いた胃癌組織中のClaudin-18.2発現状況の解析を主に免疫染色法を用いて行った。原発巣と異時性再発巣でのClaudin-18.2発現パターンの相同性が観察されるとともに、原発巣癌先進部においてもClaudin-18.2の高発現を認めることから、周囲微小環境との関わりについて、マクロファージやfibroblastとの関連について検討をおこなった。これらより、Claudin-18.2の抗体療法は進行再発胃癌に対して病理学的側面からも効果が期待できることと、Claudin-18.2が胃癌の浸潤転移成立メカニズムに関与することが示唆された。2023年度は以上の結果を踏まえて、胃癌細胞株とcancer associated fibroblastとの共培養系でのClaudin-18.2発現状況の変化について検討を加える予定である。
