前年度に引き続き、2022年度は、やさしい日本語対話集の基礎資料とする2種類のインタビュー調査を進めた。1つ目は、行政機関において、母子保健に携わる保健師・助産師が、外国人とコミュニケーションをとる中で困難を感じた場面に関する調査である。個別インタビューと、フォーカスグループインタビューを行い、13人の保健師・助産師の協力を得ることができた。その一部を、国内学会にて発表を行った。発表時点の結果から、主に、健診場面における発達に関すること、家庭訪問や健診の日程に関すること、母子健康手帳交付時や、育児指導場面では、生活実態が聞き取れないことなどが挙がっていた。引き続き、データ分析中である。2つ目は、日本で妊娠・出産・育児を行う在留外国人が、支援職とコミュニケーションをとる中で困難を感じた場面に関する調査である。個別インタビューと、フォーカスグループインタビューを行い、24名の育児中の在留外国人の協力を得ることができた。現在データ分析中である。研究チームメンバーによって、実施している在留外国人対象の身体測定・健康相談会にて、やさしい日本語の活用を行った。来場した外国人向けの掲示・配布資料には、やさしい日本語を記載し、やさしい日本語を用いた健康相談も行った。また、参加ボランティアスタッフへの普及を兼ねて、やさしい日本語を使ってももらえるよう資料を配布し、説明を行った。事後アンケートを行い、やさしい日本語の重要性や学習の必要性を理解されたことが伺えた。
