本研究の目的は、回復期リハビリテーション病棟に勤務する看護師およびリハビリセラピスト(理学療法士、作業療法士、言語聴覚士)が認知する集団的葛藤と対処行動の関連および職種による違いを明らかにすることであった。研究参加者は464名であり、内訳は看護師221名(47.6%)、理学療法士140名(30.2%)、作業療法士79名(17.0％)、言語聴覚士24名(5.2％)であった。参加者の職種経験年数は10.82(±8.72)年、リハビリテーションチーム経験年数は4.19(±4.04)年であった。リハビリテーションチーム(以下、リハチーム)においてメンバー間の意見の不一致や対立という集団内葛藤の経験の有無では、有という回答は270名(58.2%)、無は194名(41.8 %)であった。そして、集団葛藤の経験の有群と無群に分けて検討した。関係葛藤と課題葛藤の認識を比較すると、有群の方が無群に比べて関係葛藤と課題葛藤の両方ともの認識が高かった。また、集団内葛藤対処では、有群の方が無群に比べて、強制スタイルが有意に高く、自己譲歩スタイルが有意に低かった。さらに、多次元共感性では、有群の方が無群に比べて被影響性が有意に低く、課題葛藤処理方略では、徹底討論が有意に高かった。次に看護師(221名)とリハビリセラピスト(243名)との比較では、関係葛藤と課題葛藤、共感性も有意な差はみなれなかった。一方、集団内葛藤対処においては相互妥協スタイルで看護師よりもリハビリセラピストの方が有意に得点が高かった。また、チームでの集団内葛藤有の参加者には、最も印象に残っている葛藤の内容について、意見の不一致あるいは対立の内容、それに対する対処方法の自由記述を求めた。現在、その内容について質的帰納的に分析を行っている。
