本研究の目的は、摂食嚥下支援専門職が不在の精神科病院において、嚥下調整食（以下、嚥下食）を継続摂取する患者の実態把握の後、院内多職種と院外摂食嚥下支援専門職が協働で食形態改善のための指標を開発し、その有効性を検討することである。2022年度もCOVID-19感染拡大の影響により臨床現場での調査が制限されたため、可能な範囲内で研究活動を行った。主な活動は以下の2点である。１点目は、感染状況に即した実現可能性のある研究計画書を検討した。2022年5月、非対面での調査を想定した研究計画書を所属機関の倫理審査委員会に提出したが再審査となった。倫理指針・ガイドライン上、非対面での調査が極めて困難と考えられたため、大幅な研究計画の修正に時間を要した。対面調査を想定した研究計画に変更し、2022年12月に倫理審査の再申請を行い、2023年4月に承認となった。5月8日～COVID-19が5類感染症に移行するため、国内および新潟県・市内の感染状況をホームページ等で確認し、併せて研究対象施設（精神科病院）における入院患者の行動制限（面会、外出・外泊）状況の把握に努めているところである。5月中旬頃より研究依頼・調査を開始し、12月までの期間にデータ収集を行うこととしている。データ収集後は、研究分担者（医師、歯科医師）の助言を得ながら結果の分析を進めていく予定である。2点目としては、前年度に引き続き学術集会・セミナー等に参加しながら情報収集を行った。また、文献研究に取り組み、2022年12月に研究論文を学術雑誌に投稿した。その後、不採用となったが、2023年度中の採択・学術雑誌掲載を目指し、5月中に再投稿を行う予定である。

May 8 ~COVID-19: The migration of five types of infectious diseases, the infection situation in the country and in the city of Niigata, etc. were confirmed, and efforts were made to control the behavior of patients admitted to the hospital in the study facility (psychiatric hospital). In mid-May, the study began, and in December, the study began. After the collection, the study co-authors (physicians, dentists) will assist in the analysis of the results. 2.
