本年度は、前年度に実施したオンライン調査の一連の成果をとりまとめ、学会発表および論文発表を精力的に行い、社会に成果の発信を行った。まず、東京パラリンピックの観戦の有無による、身体障害者およびパラアスリートに対するイメージと身体障害者との交流態度の差異を検討した研究においては、①観戦群は非観戦群と比較して、身体障害者やパラアスリートに対して「尊敬」および「同情」においてポジティブなイメージを有し、かつ「交流の場での当惑」および「交友関係」に関する抵抗感が低いこと、②非観戦群のうち、東京パラリンピックに興味を有していた者の方が、興味がなかった者よりも、パラアスリートに対する「社会的不利」を除くすべてのイメージにおいてポジティブなイメージを有し、かつ「交流の場での当惑」および「交友関係」に関する抵抗感が低いこと、③身体障害者とパラアスリートのイメージの間に乖離が存在することを明らかにした。また、身体障害者およびパラアスリートに対するイメージと、身体障害者との交流態度の関連について検討した研究においては、①「交流の場での当惑」では、身体障害者に対する3つのイメージとの間に有意な負の関連があり、かつパラアスリートに対する「尊敬」および「同情」のイメージとの間に有意な負の関連があること、②「交友関係」に関する抵抗感では、身体障害者に対する3つのイメージとの間に有意な負の関連があり、かつパラアスリートに対する「尊敬」および「同情」のイメージとの間に有意な負の関連があること、③「主張」に関する抵抗感では，身体障害者に対する「社会的不利」および「同情」のイメージとの間に有意な負の関連が認められる一方で、パラアスリートに対するイメージはいずれも関連しないこと、④パラアスリートに対する「社会的不利」のイメージは、いずれの交流態度とも関連しないことを明らかにした。
