项目摘要

本研究はデジタルアーカイブに代表される中小規模のデジタルコレクションにおけるメタデータの相互運用性を高めるため、その記述項目の検証や文書化に用いられるアプリケーションプロファイル（Application Profile）を簡易に記述でき、共有し、再利用可能とする新たな手法を開発する。Linked Dataのグラフ表現を直接検証可能なメタデータ語彙の構造記述を形式的に行えるようにしたうえで、これに容易に文書化したり、メタデータ項目を追記変更したりしやすい工夫を加えるツールの開発を行う。本年度は、昨年度までに開発してきたグラフシェイプに基づくメタデータスキーマ記述方式の検討をさらに深め、メタデータスキーマ構築のために必要な要件定義と実装を行い、ツール化を行った。また、プラットフォーム化のための検討を行った。対象とするデータセットとして、既存の「教科書LOD」「学習指導要領LOD」「教科書編修趣意書LOD」といった教育領域の連携するLODデータセットを取り上げながら、連携のための方法を検討した。また、その他の領域の複数の異なるLODデータセットに対しても適用を試みた。さらに、昨年度に引き続き、実装ツールはGithubを通じて「ttl2html」として公開しており、これを用いたメタデータスキーマの記述と公開が容易にできる状態となっている。今後の課題として、さらなる機能性の確認、より容易に誰もが利用できるための文書化などを通じて利便性を高めるとともに、メタデータスキーマ共有のための方式について検討を進めたい。
