项目摘要

2022年度の本研究は、フィールドワークを継続的に実施し、真宗地域の儀礼慣行の現状を調査した。特に、昨年度同様、能登地方の真宗門徒の儀礼慣行を他宗旨の場合と比較し、真宗民俗の内実について検討した。まず、前年度まで調査研究を続けてきた能登地方の特有な真宗民俗と言えるコンゴウ参りについて、その研究成果を論文として刊行した。フィールドワークとして、昨年度同様、奥能登の国指定重要無形民俗文化財であるアエノコト神事について、真宗門徒と他宗旨檀家との行事内容の比較調査を実施した。行事そのものは真宗門徒の家でも行われてきたにも関わらず、田の神様に厳粛で丁重な饗応をもてなす家は、真言宗や曹洞宗の檀家であることが多い。真宗門徒の家では、家ごとの報恩講に豊穣報謝が含まれ、盛大な膳がでた。そのことが、真宗の家ではアエノコト神事が概して簡素に繋がったのに対し、真言宗や曹洞宗の家では、田の神行事を中心に感謝と予祝の全てが込められていることが厳粛な行事として今日まで続いてきたものと思われる。また、能登の国指定重要無形民俗文化財であるアマメハギ行事（来訪神）の調査を実施し、真宗村落で行われている背景を村や家の年中行事と照らし合わせながら検証した。そのほか、真宗地域に伝わる念仏踊り（盆踊り）の調査と資料を採取し、真宗地域の死生観や他界観について考察した。その一方で、3年目の今年度は、真宗地域のなかでも鹿児島県・熊本県・愛知県・岐阜県を対象にした自治体史（民俗編）や民俗調査報告書による葬送墓制の事例報告を網羅的に把握した。
