本研究の目的は、「焦点移動には、情報訂正を主眼とする対比焦点移動に加えて、非対比的情報焦点移動が存在する」という新仮説を英語に拡張し、後者の焦点移動の存在を支持する独立した経験的証拠を探ることである。3年目は、当初の予定を変更し、so too倒置文、場所句倒置文、そして、引用句倒置文を事例として取り上げ、これらの文の形式と情報構造の対応関係を考察し、論文2本を執筆した。まず、文頭のsoが累加焦点詞tooを伴う、so too倒置文（例：So too can Mary.）に関しては、COCAを活用したコーパス分析に基づき、当該形式の情報構造上の特性を考察した。その結果、so too倒置文において、①動詞句の省略を伴う場合、累加焦点の対象は倒置助動詞の後に生起する名詞句（代名詞ではなく、固有名詞や一定の情報量を持つ普通名詞を伴う名詞句）になる点、そして、②動詞句の省略を伴わない場合（例：So too can Mary play the piano.）、累加焦点の対象は動詞句内の文法要素になる点、の2つが明らかになった。本研究の成果は、累加焦点詞tooを伴うか伴わないかに関わらず、so倒置文は非対比的情報焦点（厳密には、極性焦点と累加焦点）を伴う言語現象であるという位置づけをさらに明確にするものである。次に、場所句倒置文の情報構造について、場所句倒置文の一種とされる直示的倒置文（例：Here is your lunch box.）を取り上げて考察し、当該現象の一部の事例に関しては、文頭の直示的副詞が非対比的情報焦点機能を担いうる可能性を論じた。また、引用句倒置文（例："I am so happy," said Bill.）における文頭の引用句は新情報を担うという先行研究の指摘（例：松原(2019)）を踏まえ、当該現象も非対比的情報焦点移動によって派生される可能性を論じた。
