2022年度の主な研究成果は、髙綱博文・門間卓也・関智英『グレーゾーンと帝国――歴史修正主義を乗り越える生の営み』（勉誠社、2023年）に寄稿したコラム「コラボラシオンの中のグレーゾーン――「反独コラボ」シャルル・モラス」（同書、pp. 183-198所収）である。これは戦前から変わらず、占領期も反ドイツ姿勢を保ちながらも、1945年1月にリヨンの特別裁判所で「敵との内通」で有罪判決を受けた、アクシオン・フランセーズの総帥シャルル・モラスを題材に、「反独コラボ」について議論した論考である。一貫した反独姿勢が明白でありながら、モラスが「対独協力者」として訴追されたことは、近年の先行研究でも「不条理をもたらしかねない」判断だったと評価されている。実際の裁判記録を史料として利用し、その不条理ないし不合理について考察したこの論考は、対独協力者に対する粛清裁判の問題点を浮き彫りにすることをめざす本研究にとって重要な成果となった。また、2022年度中に刊行されるまでには至らなかったものの、ヨーロッパ極右についての研究書の翻訳を仕上げた。対独協力者の残党が戦後ヨーロッパ各地で新たな極右運動を牽引したことを論証した本書の翻訳は、現代の極右ポピュリズムの問題だけでなく、対独協力者の戦後を考える本研究にとっても意義のある仕事であった。そして、2月後半には漸く渡仏し、パリの国立文書館で史料調査に取り組むことができた。予想以上に膨大な量の文書が残されていることがわかった。したがって史料蒐集はまだまだ不十分と言わざるをえないが、入手できた一部をみるだけでも、粛清裁判では何が問題視されたのかが窺い知れたことは大きな成果である。次年度も引き続き、現地での史料調査を実行したい。
