项目摘要

古墳時代中・後期、畿内の王権は、畿内の内部領域に朝鮮半島から最新の手工業技術を移植し、窯業生産や鍛冶生産、馬匹生産など専業的な手工業生産拠点を運営した。地方勢力は、個別にこの生産拠点にアクセスし、最新技術を移入した。このような手工業生産拠点をめぐる地域間交流のうち、朝鮮半島→畿内や、畿内→地方の実態は、実証が進んでいるが、地方→畿内については不明な部分が多い。本研究では、畿内の手工業生産拠点出土の列島内外の外来系土器の系譜や出土の脈絡を検討し、手工業生産拠点が列島内外との活発な交流によって運営されていたことを明らかにし、畿内の王権による手工業生産拠点の経営戦略や地方勢力の活動の実態に迫る。このような研究目的のもと、2022年度は畿内に隣接する伊賀地域の中期の土師器を分析することで伊勢・尾張地域と畿内地域の土器の系統的差異を整理した。この作業により、畿内・伊勢湾系どちらにも属さない伊賀地域独自の在地系土器の存在も明らかとなった。以上の成果を論文にまとめ、投稿した(2023年刊行予定）。一方、畿内の土器に対しては、奈良県布留遺跡出土の土師器や韓式系土器である移動式カマドの未報告資料の整理を行い、成果を口頭発表した。また論文を作成した（2023年刊行予定）。さらに、畿内の王権直営の牧と評価される蔀屋北遺跡の再検討プロジェクト（古代の馬研究会実施）に参加し、出土土器の分析を担当し、河内湖北岸の土器編年の作成と外来系土器の抽出を行った。成果は論文にまとめ、2023年１月に刊行された以上のように、2022年度は畿内の土器様相の把握と、外来系土器の抽出、隣接する東海地域との土器系統の差異の整理を行った。
