申請者自身が公刊済の論文（Masuda and Lee, 2019）で用いた高次リスク態度抽出課題を含むさまざまな個人属性をオンラインで測定した結果をまとめた論文Hanaki, Inukai, Masuda and Shimodaira (2022)がJapanese Economic Reviewに採択、ウェブ上で公開された。同論文では、よく大学生を対象に実施される経済実験結果がどれだけ普遍的なものか、いわゆる外部妥当性の懸念を扱っている。学生参加者と調査会社に登録している一般参加者の両方を対象に、不確実性に対する態度や後ろ向き推論度、認知能力等の個人属性を測定した。高次リスク態度の一つであり予防努力水準を決める慎重さ(Prudence)で比較すると、学生参加者のほうが一般参加者よりも明確に高いという結果を得た。このように、一つ一つの個人特性を見れば群間で差があるが、指標の相関構造は2つの群で似ているという結果を得た。この結果は、経済実験の外部妥当性をある程度支持するものである。
