本研究の目的はグローバリゼーションと経営者報酬と社員の給与の格差の関係を明らかにすることである。その際、2008年にアメリカで生じた世界的な金融危機が日本の各企業にとって外生的な負の需要ショックであったことを利用した準自然実験によって実証分析を定式化した。金融危機の後、2009年の日本の国内需要は4%程度しか低下していない一方、日本の輸出額は大幅に減少しており、負の需要ショックは輸出企業と国内企業に非対称な効果をもたらした。本研究では企業の輸出比率を処置変数として、金融危機の前後で差の差の分析を用い、負の需要のショックが経営者と社員の報酬格差に与える影響について検証を行った。2006年から2012年の7年間の企業レベルのデータを用いて、金融危機の後、社員の給与は減少する一方で、経営者の報酬は統計的に有意な変化は観察されず、経営者と社員の格差が拡大していることを明らかにした。この分析結果は、製造業へのサンプルの限定や、流動性、インセンティブ報酬、労働組合の変数のコントロールを行っても頑健性が維持された。また同業種の輸出比率を操作変数に用いた分析においても同様の結果を得た。これらの結果は負の需要のショックが、社員の給与よりも経営者の報酬に対して感応度が小さいことを表しており、先行文献の Bertrand and Mullainathan (2001) らの研究と整合的である。企業ガバナンスの欠如や経営管理スキルへの需要増などの要因について検討を行ったが、メカニズムまでは明らかになっていない。分析結果について経営者報酬だけに絞った論文を Applied Economics Letters に投稿し、採択された。また、社員の給与についても検証を加えた論文を国際誌に投稿し、現在査読中となっている。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between employee compensation and employee compensation. In 2008, the world's financial crisis occurred, and the needs of Japanese companies were analyzed in a standardized manner. After the financial crisis, Japan's domestic demand dropped by 4% in 2009, Japan's exports decreased significantly, and the negative demand caused an imbalance between exporting companies and domestic companies. This study examines the impact of changes in corporate output ratios, differences before and after the financial crisis, negative demand, and employee compensation differences. During the seven years from 2006 to 2012, the company's employees were employed, and after the financial crisis, the number of employees was reduced. The salary statistics of employees were intentionally changed. The difference between employees and employees was greatly increased. The analysis results show that the stability of the manufacturing industry is maintained by the limitation of the price, the liquidity, the compensation, and the number of the combination of the manufacturing industry. The results of the same analysis were obtained. The results of this study are as follows: (1) the need for compensation,(2) the compensation of employees,(3) the sensitivity of employees,(4) the research of Bertrand and Mullainathan (2001), and (5) the integration. Business management needs to be increased due to key factors in business management. The results of the analysis were submitted and collected for submission to Applied Economics Letters.
